Semi Independent Service

Our Semi-Independent Services provide the next step towards adulthood for young people aged 18 and over who are not yet ready for full independence.

Registered as Exempt Accommodation, these services offer starter flats with private kitchens and bathrooms, giving young people the chance to experience living independently while still having staff support nearby.

Our experienced team helps residents develop the skills and confidence to manage their home, budget effectively, maintain healthy routines, and pursue education or employment. Support is personalised and flexible — ensuring young people have guidance when needed but also space to grow.

Housing Benefit applications are made through Young London Plus Housing, ensuring accessibility and continuity of support.

This approach gives young people the freedom to learn, make decisions, and gain confidence in their abilities — all within a safe, nurturing environment that bridges the gap between supported living and full independence.
